Argentiere Ski Tour April 2011 (Proposed) - Good Skiers Only

Are you a good skier? Have you had some ski touring experience? Are you happy to abseil?  Yes? Then this is the perfect way to round off the ski season! The Full 8 Day Program - Back Country Alpine Ski Tour with Heli-Skiing - Ski 3 Countries - France, Italy and Switzerland in 1 week! Possible Dates('11): 9th to 16th April? - watch this space!

April 09 Program (an idea for the the coming trip):
Day 1 - 9th April: Pick up Geneva Airport if required - arrive at Chalet Hideaway - Argentiere (5ks up the road from Chamonix).*
Day 2 - 10th: Free day to get ski fitness/mountain technique at your own pace.*
Day 3 - 11th: Ski tour starting from Flegere lift or similar depending on best conditions.*
Day 4 - 12th: Ski tour from the Aiguille du Midi lift.*
The Main Tour:
Day 5 - 13th: Lift up to le Grandes Montets. Ski tour to Col du Tour Noir. Night in Argentiere refuge.
Day 6 - 14th: From Argentiere refuge to Col du Chardonet, ski down, up and over the Col du Salina, ski down to Champex, night in Champex.
Day 7 - 15th: Helicopter from Orsiere to Plateau du Trient. Ski on the Glacier du Grande to Trient.*
End of Tour
Day 8 - 16th: Depart for Geneva.

* 5 nights in Chalet Hideaway

Included:
5 nights in luxury chalet with half board (with all normal extras such as return airport transfers, resort transfers, 4 course fine dining evening meal with complimentary wine and beer, breakfast etc)
2 nights half board in mountain refuges or equivalent

5 days guiding All necessary glacier and avalanche equipment if needed. All group climbing equipment, ropes carabineers Helicopter lift from Orsiere to plateau du Trient All taxi transfers Avalanche safety gear (shovel, probe, transceiver) Not included: Ski lifts in Chamonix Lunches, drinks in refuges
