Chalet Grand Ours
- a comfortable chalet in Meribel - 10/11 beds |
Chalet Le Grand Ours is an excellent addition to our Meribel town
centre chalets program.
This quality catered chalet has a charming feel and will certainly be
popular due to its size and the Meribel town centre location.
This traditional wooden build quality catered chalet has a bright open
plan living area leading onto a sunny south facing balcony where you can
take in the stunning views of the Meribel Valley.
The chalet has five en-suite bedrooms sleeping 10 people
comfortably (with the option to take 11). Four bedrooms have baths and one
has a
shower. One of the larger rooms has a dressing room; this bedroom will
also take an additional bed.
The chalet also benefits from a sauna. Our mini-bus service takes you to
and from the lifts at the beginning and end of each day. The Meribel town
centre is only a 10 minute stroll. Chalet de
Launey is situated opposite this chalet.
No-smoking chalet. Chalet staff live in.

locally fresh baked bread and preserves. You can also enjoy a choice of
cooked eggs with a daily accompaniment of one of the following: bacon,
sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms or beans.
On your return from a days skiing, you will find afternoon tea for you to
help yourself, consisting of a freshly baked cake or biscuits together
with tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Your dinner comprises three-courses complimented with selected French
wines followed by coffee and chocolates. The farewell evening meal on
Friday evening is
accompanied by a complimentary bottle of port.
Wednesday is our host's day off - continental breakfast will be delivered
with fresh bread, croissants and pain au chocolate. Afternoon tea will be available as usual
and your evening meal will be at
a local restaurant which we will be delighted to recommend.
Tea, coffee and fresh fruit are always available for you to help yourself.
