|
Chalet Jamais Bleu, a stunning La Tania chalet, built only five
years ago in typical Savoyarde style combining modern living standards
but retaining traditional character and charm.
All seven bedrooms, sleeping 14 guests, provide fully en-suite
facilities with showers. An outside Jacuzzi hot tub overlooking the piste
provides a relaxing soak at the end of a days skiing. The town centre
with its bars and shops is just a 5-10 minute walk.
A bright and spacious open plan living/dinning area with high-beamed
ceiling and characteristic wood burner, Freeview Sky TV/video, CD player
and phone for free local outgoing calls and international incoming calls
provides all the facilities and comfort for a great holiday. From the
balcony you can take in the breathtaking views across the valley Bozel.
A large south facing terrace from the dining area enjoys hours of mid-day
sun during the finer days. The chalet is adjacent and conveniently
located at the foot of the Moretta Blanche piste. It is possible for all
levels of skiers to take the 100 metres run to the 12-man telecabine with
a ski-back to door or simple walk back to the chalet each day.
The location of this chalet gives easy access to la Tania resort centre
for an après-ski beer or teatime browsing around the la Tania shops.
The Food
The cuisine is described by our guests as being of good quality and
more than enough quantity!
Start the day with a selection of porridge, cereals, yoghurts and
locally fresh baked bread and preserves. You can also enjoy a choice of
cooked eggs with a daily accompaniment of one of the following: bacon,
sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms or beans.
On your return from a days skiing, you will find afternoon tea for you to
help yourself, consisting of a freshly baked cake or biscuits together
with tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Your dinner comprises three-courses complimented with selected French
wines followed by coffee and chocolates. The farewell evening meal on
Friday evening is
accompanied by a complimentary bottle of port.
Wednesday is our host's day off - continental breakfast will be delivered
with fresh bread, croissants and pain au chocolate. Afternoon tea will be available as usual
and your evening meal will be at
a local restaurant which we will be delighted to recommend.
Tea, coffee and fresh fruit are always available for you to help yourself.
Children’s Meals - younger children normally eat earlier - we suggest 18.00–18.30.
