Chalet Marmottons Marmottons is a lovely old stone built chalet
that is situated above the village of Courchevel 1550, close to the edge
of the piste, and right beside one of our other catered chalets, Reposoir.
People particularly enjoy the fact that it is just a short walk to the
piste in the morning and that it is possible to ski back to the door at
the end of the day.
The chalet is on three levels with the main entrance on the ground floor,
the lounge/dining room on the first floor, and three bedrooms on the
second floor. There is a separate entrance for bedroom 1 which is located
on the ground floor.
The old fashioned mood of the chalet is created by the exposed stone
walls, the wooden roof beams and the log fire in the centre of the
lounge.
Marmottons is a cosy comfortable catered chalet and represents terrific
value.

Skiing from the Chalet
In the morning walk 50m up the road, put your skis on and ski 40m along a
narrow path through trees to the edge of the Dou du Midi piste. From
there it is a short ski to the first chairlift, or you can traverse over
towards the bubble lift which takes you directly into 1850.
At the end of the day reasonable skiers can ski back to the chalet.
Beginners get the bubble down from 1850 then jump on the free ski bus or
use our dedicated mini bus service. Alternatively they can walk from / to
the chalet (10 - 15 minutes).
