The Mountain Hideaway is a beautifully constructed 4 bedroom chalet located in the village of Argentiere in the Chamonix Valley. It is built to a great high end finish and is capable of sleeping up to 9 guests comfortably.

The property is less than two years old so all the features are in perfect condition. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedroom upstairs, all with use of their own bathroom.

The chalet comes fully equipped with tv/dvd with cable connection, free wi-fi internet connection, underfloor heating, large kitchen with all mod cons, downstairs there is a very comfortable leather sofa bed in the lounge that is capable of sleeping 2 additional guests if required and upstairs there is a separate playing area for children.

The downstairs living area opens up onto a quiet wooden deck whilst the upstairs living area has use of its own balcony with spectacular views of the Grand Montets resort.

Best of all, the property also has the added luxury of having a Swedish sauna and a heated indoor swimming pool located in the downstairs basement – what better way to relax after a hard day on the mountain.

Guests also have free use of the extensive dvd library provided and there are a variety of board games freely available.

Being a small, privately run company, we pride ourselves on being personally involved in the day-to-day running of the chalet, ensuring the very finest in luxury chalet service. We are happy to provide daily information on the ski terrain, current snow conditions, ski lift status, local attractions, restaurants, bars and entertainment.

Your host Jon, has been an avid skier and snowboarder for the past 10 years, five of these spent in the Chamonix/Courchevel region. He has great passion and enthusiasm for snowboarding and skiing, as well as an excellent knowledge of the local terrain. Therefore, he is able to assist you on where to ski/board for the day, considering the current conditions.

The Food

The Mountain Hideaway come with a luxury fine dining catered service.

Each morning we provide a full continental breakfast comprising of fresh bread and croissants, a selection of yogurts, cereals, local meats and cheeses, a large fruit bowl and freshly brewed tea and coffee. A cooked breakfast can be arranged for those who so desire.

Upon return to the chalet after your day on the mountain, you may help yourself to an afternoon tea made up of freshly baked cakes, muffins or cookies, tea and coffee or a nice cold beer from the chalet fridge to help you unwind.

For dinner, you will be served a delicious four course meal accompanied with a good selection of local French wines.

We are also able to cater for any special dietary requirements. Dinner is provided for 5 out of the 7 nights. This allows you the opportunity to also experience some of Chamonix's great fine dining restaurants which we can arrange for you.
