Chalet Rocher
Set in a prominent position in the resort, just 70 metres from the first
lift, restaurants, shops, ski school and crèches, Chalet Rocher is built
in a traditional alpine style and has been designed in collaboration with
a professional interior designer. The result is a beautiful alpine
retreat set across four floors, including a basement playroom, which
provides something for everyone and sleeps up to 16 people
After a great day on the slopes, come in through the separate entrance to
the boot room, drop off your skis and boards, and leave your boots
warming on the boot heaters ready for the morning and come upstairs to
the sumptuously decorated open living area.
Unwind on the leather sofas
in front of the cosy log fire listening to your favourite tunes on the ipod docking station, or relax in the separate TV area with UK satellite,
flat screen TV and a DVD player.
Alternatively, retire to the large balcony, with your favourite drink,
where you can enjoy the stunning uninterrupted views of Mont Pourri and
the surrounding valley. Later enjoy a delicious meal prepared in the
fully equipped semi open plan kitchen and share stories from the slopes
around the large dining table that seats up to 12 people.
For large family groups, Chalet Rocher has a 70sqm playroom with TV, DVD
and a range of toys in the basement providing a huge space for young
children to play, or teenagers to escape.
The Food
We believe that quality catering is a crucial aspect of a ski chalet
holiday experience. That's why from start to finish, we aim to exceed
your expectations and cater for every individual requirement.
To start your day, you will be offered a hearty cooked breakfast of bacon
and eggs, freshly baked croissants and breads, a selection of jams,
cereals, yoghurts, fresh orange juice and a choice of teas or coffee. As
well as wakening the senses, this should keep you fully charged until
lunch.
You will be welcomed back to your chalet by the inviting aroma of freshly
baked cakes or cookies and your chalet host will have laid everything out
for tea - all you have to do is switch on the kettle!
And the best is yet to come! On your first evening you will be welcomed
with a glass of Kir Royale and mouth-watering canapés. Each night you
will enjoy a three course evening meal followed by a selection of local
cheeses or fruit and coffee with petit fours will be served in the
lounge. The meal is complemented by a selection of Savoyard wines chosen
by a local sommelier to ensure you receive the very best this region has
to offer.
Once a week, you will have the chance to sample the local cuisine when
your chalet host will have a well-deserved rest day. There are an amazing
variety of restaurants in the local area so just ask your chalet host for
some recommendations. You're in for a treat !
