Chalet l'Avenaz
Unwind in the comfort of our catered ski chalet l'Avenaz in the
Chamonix valley, France. The atmosphere is friendly and informal allowing
you to ease into your ski holiday, relax with friends and enjoy all
Argentiére and the valley has to offer.
Chalet l'Avenaz is ideally situated for access to both the ski areas of
the Chamonix Valley and resort facilities. We also boast a short transfer
time from Geneva Airport, only one and a half hours door to door which is
crucial if you're keen to get on the slopes.
We offer spacious, comfortable accommodation and a cuisine that is well
presented, varied and regularly irresistible, a good wine and warm
friendly atmosphere to relax in after an exciting day on the mountain.
We will help organise your ski hire, lift pass and ski lessons and give
you advice on the most appropriate areas to ski depending on the
conditions and your ability, so that you can waste none of your precious
holiday time in the wrong places.
We are always at hand to give you help regarding any aspect of your
holiday, whether you are making your booking or during your stay in the
chalet, we will personally take care of it.
The chalet's centre point is a spacious sitting room/dining room with
open fire place and large south facing windows offering fantastic views
of the ski area, Argentiere glacier and the entire Chamonix valley. The
perfect place to unwind and reflect on the days adventures.
The Beds
The chalet consists of five bedrooms sleeping 10/12 people.
Downstairs you will find a twin/ triple room and a twin room which share
shower room and toilet. On the upper floor you will find two twin rooms
and a twin / triple which share a bathroom and separate toilet.
Chalet l'Avenaz is situated a few minutes walk from the centre of
Argentiere in the old town where you will find many welcoming bars,
restaurants and ski shops. The ski area is either a short drive or a ski
through the forest via the cross-country tracks to the lift station.
Chalet l'Avenaz can be taken on a per room basis or as a whole chalet,
ideal for groups of 8-12 people. We also cater for short breaks so

The Food
Quality cuisine is an integral part of our holidays. Our menus
combine local cuisine and great quality home cooked food. Vegetarian and
other dietary preferences can be catered for.
Breakfast - Start the day with an energising meal from a selection of
cereals and porridge, yogurt, fresh bread, eggs, orange juice, fruit
bowl, tea and coffee.
High tea - On your return from the slopes, tuck into a selection of
freshly baked cakes or biscuits, fresh bread, tea and hot chocolate
Evening meal - The time when everyone gathers and discusses the days
events and plans for the next days adventure. Dinner consists of three
carefully chosen courses, with complimentary red and white wine.
Additionally, a board of local cheeses is served several times during the
week and a fruit bowl is always available.
